I grew up in the West Midlands and after a brief spell working in London visited Cornwall in the late 1960s, falling in love with the laid back lifestyle, surfing and Wendy (my wife). We soon made the North Coast of Cornwall our forever home, raising our daughter Victoria in the seaside village of Crantock, where we still live.

I’m a self-taught artist and my career has spanned five decades, with numerous one man shows, participation in mixed exhibitions and gallery representation throughout the UK. My work also hangs in private collections throughout the world.

My love for the Impressionist painters and our travels over the years through France, Italy and the Greek Islands, still form a large part of the inspiration for my work, alongside the changing seasons and rugged beauty of the North Cornish Coast, in which I am constantly immersed.
